School skilling
CSS-VHSE(NSQF Project)
The NSQF opens a skilled pathway career for the school and college students in vocational & education training. The students can choose and get trained according to their area of interest and specialize with skill training, over simple educational qualifications. Learning and becoming proficient in a skill are part of the continuum leading to both professional and personal growth of an Individual. When today our country is moving forward to build a “Skilled India”, the start should commence from our schools, as they are the foundation to the building of any nation.
The “Skill for School” programme is now implemented in 2035 schools across different states to the need of various sectors LIKE Automobile, IT/ITES, Beauty & Wellness, Travel & hospitality et al. Under the CBSE framework the students through 9, 10, 11, and 12 will now undergo 1000 hours of learning in their chosen field.
National Skill Education Council will be partnering with several National and Regional Schools as a Skill Knowledge Partner (SKP) to provide Vocational Education under the National Vocational Education Qualification Framework (NVEQF) levels.
The courses will be delivered through smart class and digitalized content to create a seamless learning experience for the students.
